What is measured,
and what is refused.

01

Three states, and no fourth

Every figure on every surface is exactly one of:

  • read — a value, with the instrument that produced it and the second it was taken.
  • unread — the instrument was asked and could not answer, with the reason printed where the number would be.
  • none — the instrument answered, and the honest answer is nothing.

There is no last known good shown without its age. Stale is a kind of read, not a kind of live, and a reading is dropped from every surface once it passes 15 minutes.

02

Where the readings come from

Two instruments, named on every row. market is the public DexScreener aggregator, which supplies price, liquidity, volume, price change and trade counts. chain is a Solana RPC, which supplies supply, decimals, mint and freeze authority, and the balances of the largest token accounts.

A third, candidates, decides what gets looked at: the aggregator's recently-updated token listings. That is called what it is on this site — recently updated, not trending. They are different claims and only one of them is true.

Nothing is fetched while a page renders. The sweep writes readings; the pages read what was written. A page that fetched live would show figures that were never recorded, and so could never be checked afterwards.

03

Momentum, out of 100

TermHow it scalesMax
price, last hour0 at 0%, full at +60%30
price, last day0 at 0%, full at +200%20
volume ÷ liquidity0 at 0.5×, full at 15×30
buys as a share of trades0 at 50%, full at 80%20

The third term is turnover, not raw volume, and it is the one that matters. A $200K day against $2M of liquidity is a quiet day; the same $200K against $20K is the whole pool changing hands ten times. Ranking on raw volume puts the largest tokens on top for ever and tells nobody anything.

04

Risk, out of 100, higher is worse

TermHow it scalesMax
mint authority still live30 if more tokens can still be minted30
freeze authority still live25 if your account can still be frozen25
held by the ten largest accounts0 at 25%, full at 85%25
how little there is to sell into0 at $60K liquidity, full at $3K20

Concentration is measured from the twenty largest token accounts, and pool accounts are included in it. That inflates the figure for healthy tokens with deep liquidity, and it is stated here rather than quietly corrected, because a correction we cannot show you is a number you cannot check.

05

Unreadable is a verdict

With no chain reading at all, or three or more missing market terms, the answer is UNREADABLE — not a low score, not a neutral one. A terminal that always produces a rating is rating its own guesses.

Tokens under $3.0K of liquidity are recorded but never ranked. The absence is itself a reading and is kept.

06

What these scores are not

Neither score predicts anything. Momentum describes what has already happened to price, volume and flow. Risk counts conditions that were true at the instant of reading. A high momentum score is a description of the recent past and nothing else, and no arrangement of the two is a reason to buy.

Every score is stored beside the exact reading it was computed from, so a number seen last week can be recomputed rather than trusted. A score whose inputs have been overwritten is an opinion.
